Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Mt. Angle, OR
Shift: Mid Shift, (14:00 - 22:30)
Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Mt. Angle, OR. As a CNA, you will provide compassionate care to our residents and support the nursing staff in delivering high-quality services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow care plans and protocols as directed by the nursing team.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long-Term Care setting.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to facility policies and procedures.
