Steingold's of Chicago is Hiring a Pastry Cook Near Chicago, IL
This is an AM position; the hours are roughly 5AM-12PM, five days a week. This person should have a minimum of two years experience in a high-volume bakery or restaurant. Your job duties will include executing a variety of recipes including cookies, muffins, cakes, breads and pastries. Familiarity with weight and volume measurements as well as basic baking techniques is essential. Ability to work well with others, self-motivation and attention to detail are imperative.Must have a vaild Food Handlers Certification in the city of Chicago, be able to stand for 8 hours, and lift at least 50 pounds.
