Knuth Machine Tools USA is Hiring a Sales Development Representative Near Lincolnshire, IL

Knuth Machine Tools USA, Inc., is the North American headquarters of Knuth Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH of Wasbek, Germany. Knuth was founded in Germany in 1923. We supply a full range of metalworking equipment for a diverse customer base. From our Lincolnshire IL facility we provide sales and service of machine tools to the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Currently our US operation is considered a small business with less than 50 employees and revenue <$40M. In order to lift our sales efforts to the next level we are looking for an ambitious Sale Development Representative.

Responsibilities:

· Generating leads & updating account information through outbound calling and email communication to current database. This will include verifying billing/shipping address as well as customer contacts with phone/direct/cell and email information.

· Warming up/qualifying new leads received through website

· Manage leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress towards meeting sales goals.

· Contact existing customers following up on recent or past purchases

· Become customer advocate, encouraging customers to make contact should they require anything from KNUTH.

· Gain good understanding of KNUTH products and actively support new requests for these items.

· Support the sales group by identifying new machine opportunities and documenting them in Salesforce and alerting respective sales representative.

· Follow up on expired quotations.

· Assist with social media marketing, developing email marketing, developing campaigns, etc.

Education and Skills Required:

· Experience in similar role working as a sales assistant or in logistics a plus but not required (will train the right person)

· HS diploma

· MS Office proficiency, experienced with CRM systems, Quickbooks experience a plus

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Highly organized

· Positive, friendly attitude

· Reliable and professional

· Bilingual a plus (Spanish or German)
