DCI Engineers – Bozeman, MT

DCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20 offices spanning the United States has an opportunity for a full-time Human Resources & Administrative Assistant.

Working from the Bozeman, MT office, the right individual will not only provide administrative support to our local engineering and design teams but play a key role assisting the company’s Human Resources department.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys having a varied set of duties, likes a faster pace, and wants to contribute to an established team of professionals.

Human Resource Responsibilities:

  • Post company job openings and screen incoming resumes.
  • Assist offices in scheduling interviews and conduct reference checks, when requested.
  • Prepare for and process company new hires, including prepping offer letters and comp statements, paperwork collection, and data entry.
  • Write and post new hire welcome announcements.
  • Coordinate company career fair participation with universities, company representatives, and the marketing team.
  • Assist Benefit Coordinator with company Wellness program and initiatives.
  • Track donation matching requests, volunteer time off approvals, and referral bonuses.
  • As requested, conduct benefit orientations for new hires and assist Benefit Coordinator with employee needs during open enrollment.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • General office reception duties – greeting clients, signing for packages, maintaining cleanliness of the office.
  • Order/purchase office and breakroom supplies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of office events.
  • Process expense reports.
  • Schedule fleet vehicle maintenance and run office errands.
  • Assist with other duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Generally be able to self-direct and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Exhibit professionalism, organization and scheduling management skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Outlook, MS Suite, and Adobe.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS software, and hiring platforms, such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment; juggle competing tasks and demands in the midst of frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
