DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Perform cost-benefit analysis and needs of existing/potential customers in order to meet their needs and exceed expectations
Prospecting, planning and conducting in-person visits with potential new clients within the Mexican territory
Understand customers' business challenges, proactively identify problems, and implement effective solutions to improve their goals within the supply chain and offer customized solutions to their business needs
Keeping customers informed of the business's best practices and promotional trends
Coordinate sales efforts together with operational team members and other departments
Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships. Have the ability to successfully close business transactions and achieve sales objectives
Elaboration of territory/market potential analysis, sales tracking and account status reports
Manage the needs, problems, interests, activities and competencies of the services provided to potential customers within your supply chain
Expedite resolution of customer issues and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
Take the lead in coordinating/developing/managing all aspects of the sales proposal process. Continuously improve through direct customer feedback
Demonstrate technical sales skills and knowledge of all available services
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with customers
Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, call calls, in-person visits, through networking, etc
Conducts quarterly business reviews with the client and maintains close/ongoing communication with the client and our operations team to ensure expectations are met
Lead and collaborate with international air, sea, and land operations teams to develop customized solutions for clients
Development of SOPs to manage clients' business effectively
Maintain a strong commercial presence in the local market, participating and making a presence in regional events
REQUIREMENTS.
Knowledge in Freight Forwarder service sales by air, sea and land -mandatory
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, export/import services by sea, air and land
Excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills
Highly motivated and goal-driven, with a proven professional track record in sales
Extensive knowledge of operations, logistics and supply chain with the goal of achieving optimal customer satisfaction
Solid understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel within Mexican territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
Strong work ethic
Availability of schedules, weekends, holidays
Must be motivated and have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
Own vehicle, valid driver's license, and excellent driving record
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Able to react to changes in the business environment and take on new responsibilities as needed
Base salary based on skills and commissions.
