Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? As a Client Support Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our Behavioral Health and Recovery programs, working directly with all our dedicated teams. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through our admission process with care and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Admissions:

  • Be the welcoming face for new clients, expertly guiding them through the admissions process.
Document Management:
  • Handle essential paperwork and documentation with precision.
Appointment Scheduling:
  • Coordinate and schedule client appointments, ensuring timely follow-ups and reducing no-shows.
Insurance Verification:
  • Confirm insurance eligibility to facilitate smooth service delivery.
Health Records Maintenance:
  • Keep our electronic health record systems up-to-date for seamless communication and care continuity
Program Support:
  • Assist with data entry and support for SOR/SABG, Foundational Community Supports, BHA programs, and other CME recovery initiatives.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
  • An AA or bachelor's degree in behavioral health and recovery programs or a similar field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in the field of substance use disorders and/or mental health is preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid Managed Care Plans, billing, healthcare, or mental health settings is preferred.
  • Have strong organizational skills for scheduling appointments in the Electronic Practice Management System.
Certificates and Licenses:
  • Current Washington State Driver's License and access to a reliable car with liability insurance.
Language Ability:
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with clients, coworkers, and partners.
  • Knowledge of documentation processes.
Math Ability:
  • High school-level mathematics, ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret graphs.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Ability to work collaboratively with persons in recovery.
  • Excellent client/customer service and telephone skills.
  • Ability to speak effectively to employees, customers, suppliers, and others as needed.
  • Knowledge and acceptance of the recovery process with adults in SUD treatment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is also essential.
Computer Skills :
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems, billing, and claims processing, is required.
  • Must exhibit proficiency using all standard software applications (Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
