Ramapo Communication Corp is Hiring a Generator Technician Near Pembroke, FL
- Troubleshoots and repairs alternating current electrical systems on generators
- Automatic transfer switches
- Generator controls and engine related mechanical failures; and performs routine preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes and inspections on all generator and by-pass pumps.
- Diagnose and repair problems with generators
- Switchgear and other mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication and load testing
- Test systems for efficiency and output.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in generator maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a generator technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of generator systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Kohler & Generac Certified preferred
