Ramapo Communication Corp. is looking for a Tower Climber to join our growing team. We are in search of individuals looking for a new career in the telecommunications industry with a great advancement opportunity. We install, repair, and decommission wireless cellular sites for all the major carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) The majority of our work will be done in but not limited to the NY, NJ, and BAWA Markets. Must have:

• Ability to work long weekdays and weekends.
• Have the Legal right to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a member of a team and take direction.
• Willingness to learn and obtain new skill sets.

Must provide own transportation to shop and/or jobsite and have Driver’s License (must have Clean Driving Record; Driving record will be checked) Must have working valid Cell Phone (Smart Phone preferred) We offer paid training by experienced trainers with over 30 years of combined experience. Must be able to work outside, all season long.

• Climbing certification not required but must be willing to learn to climb.
• Climbers will be asked to work at heights of over 100’ and be able to follow safety protocols.
• Ground Support will be asked to work below aerial work and be able to follow safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of tower climbing experience is a must.
• Must be certified in – Tower Rescue, RF-Awareness, OSHA 10-HR, First Aid/CPR
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be mechanically inclined and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work long shifts.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work outdoors in all elements.
• Must have common sense and the ability to learn and retain information quickly.
• Candidates must have valid driver’s license.
