Ramapo Communication Corp is Hiring a Construction Manager (Fiber) Near Cambridge, MN

Ramapo Communication Corp. is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager to join our team in the Cambridge, MN area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing fiber construction projects, ensuring efficient and high-quality project delivery The construction manager is required to hold an OSHA 30 certification and is responsible for enforcing OSHA safety requirements on the job site. CMs ensure that all the cost and production targets are achieved by adhering to all company policies, ES&H, OSHA programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of fiber construction projects in the Cambridge, MN area.
  • Read prints and effectively relay instructions to Production Crews to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Place locate tickets with 811 to ensure the safety of construction activities.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations on construction sites.
  • Record production metrics and input data into tracking software.
  • Handle day-to-day interactions and communication with customers, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Conduct site walks to identify potential issues and challenges.
  • Record and communicate identified issues, working towards prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fiber construction at a foreman level or higher is a must.
  • Strong ability to read prints and convey instructions to Production Crews effectively.
  • Familiarity with placing locate tickets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of fiber construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
