LVI Associates is Hiring an Operations Project Manager Near Norcross, GA

A client of ours in Norcross has recently opened up a Project Manager role for their Low Voltage Division. Due to a constant influx of new 7 and 8 figure projects, they are looking to expand their team to continue their growth.

The candidate selected for this position will be brought in with the plan to promote them into the next Operations Manager of their division.

The Company

By specializing in Low Voltage integration, my client has been able to provide technology solutions in a wide array of verticals, to service their customers to the highest standards. With their area of focus being in Higher Education and Commercial projects, they are the leading integrators within their specialty.

A key component of their growth success, is due to their ability to finance role related certifications. For a Project Manager, this would be a PMP. By doing this, they are able to promote staff from within, allowing career growth within the company.

The Role

As a Project Manager within the Operations team, you can expect responsibilities in the following areas:

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, considering low voltage systems requirements.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Estimate project costs, create budgets, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to low voltage systems installation or operation and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Procurement: Coordinate with procurement teams to acquire necessary materials, equipment, and services for low voltage system installations.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that low voltage systems meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project success.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of low voltage systems, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout documents.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that low voltage system installations comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, such as NEC (National Electrical Code).
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to project teams and stakeholders on low voltage systems and related technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Your main role will be to polish up the projects that the Sales Teams bring in, to then pass over to the Field Project Manager's. As well as this, you will be expected to develop procedures and structures within the Electronic Security Division to create a cohesive team.

What Can You Bring?

  • 10 Years of industry experience.
  • 3 Years of Project Management experience.
  • Hands on experience of installing, servicing or programming Electronic Security Systems.
  • System certifications in Genetec, Lenel & Softwarehouse.
  • PMP Certifications is a plus.
  • Project experience in Higher Education, Commercial and Industrial projects is preferred.
