Town of Breckenridge is Hiring a Senior Project Manager Near Breckenridge, CO


The Town of Breckenridge is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified individual for the position of Senior Project Manager. This role is responsible for construction project management work for assigned capital projects and ensures that project schedules, cost, and overall quality performance objectives are met across a diverse range of capital improvement projects. The Senior Project Manager coordinates, manages, and monitors the progress of assigned projects and programs at all stages of development to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective projects, and performs related work as required. This role also provides assistance to other departments within the Town and performs a variety of technical duties as assigned.
 
Ancillary duties may include the administration of the Town engineering standards as detailed in the Town Code, including the review of residential, commercial, and Town development submittals, review of subdivision plans, review of civil site components of building permit applications, review and administration of “Subdivision Improvement Agreements” (SIA), inspection and acceptance of SIA improvements, monitoring the installation of survey monuments, reviewing drainage improvements, reviewing variances to the Town Code (related to the Engineering Standards), reviewing and approval of Right-of-Way and Infrastructure permits, administration of water quality standards for construction projects, and the review of license agreements for items within Town Right-of-Way.For additional information regarding this position including important roles, essential job functions and duties, knowledge, skills and abilities required, materials and equipment used, working environment, and physical activity required, please view the full position description.

MINIMUM & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree, with major work in civil engineering, construction management, or related field required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience in construction project management required.
  • Three (3) years of municipal construction project management experience preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, GIS, CAD-based software programs required.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire.

WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is Full-Time, with a typical schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be able to work additional hours as needed at the discretion of management.
