Job Description: 

 We are seeking an UAS Current Readiness Analyst supporting the US Marine Corps’ family of UAS vehicles located onsite at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the TMS lead for all readiness and logistics efforts connected with the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) and Current Readiness Community of Practice.
• Develop and monitor Current Readiness metrics which supports mission accomplishment.
• Implement the NAE strategic direction and mission within the TMS team.
• Serve as a TMS analyst to the government and provide support to the customer on program and project operations.
• Collect or coordinate the collection of monthly metrics data, perform root cause analysis to identify gaps in performance metrics, present root cause analysis during meetings for barrier resolution, assemble monthly analysis products using the appropriate database tools, assist the TMS team leadership in producing monthly analysis summaries, create NAE briefing materials, and monitor improvement of actual cycle time, first past yield, Actions Items (AIs), Work in Progress (WIP) productivity.
• Participate in studies and assessments and support strategic, tactical, or operational planning and execution as part of the larger NAE Current Readiness Team.

Here's what you need:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel at an expert user level
• Experience with Continuous Process Improvement principles and tools, including AIRSpeed and Lean Six Sigma
• Experience in a USMC or USN TMS community
• Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps Organization, staff functions, and administrative processes
• Knowledge of USN and USMC maintenance and cost tools, including OOMA and NALCOMIS, AMSRR reporting, DECKPLATE, or AFAST TWing Tool.
• Knowledge of USN and USMC Aviation Readiness measures, DRRS-N/MC, SHARP, FLTMPS, and Microsoft Office tools and functions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access database usage and tools
• Ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and explain findings.
• Eight (8) years of experience as an aviation readiness data analyst
• Three (3) years of UAS experience including maintenance, operations, and logistics.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with aviation sustainment at a systems command or depot level and fleet readiness center.
• Experience as a US Navy or Marine Corps officer, senior enlisted or senior level DoD government supporting UAS.

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline. (An additional eight (8) years performing the foregoing functions may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. An Associate's Degree plus an additional four (4) years performing the foregoing functions may also be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.)
