Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in accounting and grow with our company. As an Accounting Clerk, you will support our accounting department with various tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry and record keeping.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
- Prepare and maintain financial documents and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in accounting is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Competitive hourly wage of $19.00 plus depending on experience.
