Commercial Litigation Associate | Seattle Washington | Am Law 100

Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 national law firm seeking a 4th to 6th year Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Seattle Washington office.

This is a defense side litigation role focused on complex class action matters, including consumer and wage and hour disputes, with meaningful involvement in core case work from pleadings and briefing through discovery and oral advocacy.

The firm offers a sophisticated national litigation platform, a collaborative team environment, and the resources to support substantial state and federal court matters for a broad client base.

The Opportunity

You will help manage commercial and class action litigation matters, draft pleadings and briefs, handle discovery, support case strategy, and contribute to oral advocacy in a team oriented practice. The work is well suited to an associate who enjoys rigorous writing, practical problem solving, and taking ownership of important litigation tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 4th to 6th year Commercial Litigation Associate with:

• 4 to 6 years of litigation experience gained in a law firm setting or through a judicial clerkship
• Experience with complex commercial litigation, with consumer, product liability, employment, or wage and hour class action experience preferred
• Strong litigation fundamentals including pleadings, brief writing, discovery, deposition preparation, and case strategy
• Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and strong academic credentials
• Active Washington Bar admission or ability to waive in, with ability to work in office five days per week in Seattle

Compensation
