The Opportunity
The successful associate will support a range of financing transactions, including secured lending matters involving Article 9 of the UCC, debt finance transactions and capital markets related work. The role may also include broader corporate support, with potential exposure to restructuring, workouts and M&A support depending on deal flow and experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 2nd to 3rd year Finance Associate with:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant finance experience in a comparable law firm environment
- Experience with debt finance, capital markets transactions and secured lending under Article 9 of the UCC
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required
- Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid schedule with regular in office presence
- Exposure to restructuring, workouts or M&A support considered helpful
