Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked international law firm seeking a 4th to 6th year Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Managing Associate to join its Seattle Washington office.

This is a corporate transactional role focused on advising emerging and growth stage technology businesses, with regular involvement in venture capital financings and related company building work.

The team is known for a collaborative approach and a scaled platform that supports clients across stages of growth. The Seattle office offers close partner access, hands on deal experience, and a professional environment with consistent in office collaboration.

The Opportunity

You will run core elements of venture financings and broader corporate work for technology companies, including drafting and negotiating deal documents, coordinating diligence and closing processes, and serving as a day to day point of contact for founders, executives, and investors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 4th to 6th year Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Managing Associate with:

• 4 to 6 years of relevant corporate transactional experience, ideally including emerging companies and venture capital financings
• Admission to the Washington state bar
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills, with the ability to manage deal process and timelines
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and comfort working in office five days per week

Compensation
