The Opportunity
You will lead and support venture and growth equity financings, company side private offerings, and related corporate governance and commercial matters. The role offers meaningful responsibility in structuring and negotiating deals, coordinating across specialty teams as needed, and serving as a day to day point of contact for founders and investors.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 7 to 8 year Corporate Senior Associate with:
- 7 to 8 years of relevant corporate and venture transactions experience from a major law firm environment
- Substantial experience advising on venture capital financings, private offerings, and emerging company transactions
- Washington bar admission in good standing
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting and negotiation skills
- A driven, team oriented approach with polished client communication and sound commercial judgment
