The Opportunity
You will work on secured lending transactions from structuring through closing, including drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor arrangements, commitment papers, and related closing deliverables, while developing strong lender and borrower side judgment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a midlevel Finance Associate Attorney with:
- 3 to 6 years of law firm finance experience handling secured lending transactions
- Experience representing both lenders and borrowers, including banks and institutional lenders
- Strong drafting, editing, and negotiation experience across loan documents, security documents, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, and closing documents
- Bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction, or eligibility to waive in
- Strong business judgment, client service mindset, initiative, and ability to work effectively within a team oriented practice
