Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working all shifts to deliver exceptional patient care across diverse settings. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as PCC
• Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterizations following sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor patients’ conditions closely, managing acute pain, airway management, ventilator support, and infection control measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and diagnostic evaluations to optimize patient care plans.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and long-term care regulations.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
• Assist with specimen collection/processing, suturing, DME (durable medical equipment), and other clinical procedures as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience working with diverse patient populations in settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers), skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, or home & community care environments.
• Critical care experience including ICU, emergency room (ER), urgent care, or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is highly valued.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate documentation and billing; experience with EMR/EHR systems like PCC is preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatrics, dementia/cognitive impairment management, hospice care principles, and infectious disease protocols enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with medical imaging and laboratory procedures is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology coupled with excellent patient assessment skills to ensure precise clinical evaluations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as hospital medicine or outpatient clinics while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.

Florida Background Screening Requirement:
This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Clearinghouse in accordance with Florida law. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required background screening.
