Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation and high availability of critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems supporting manufacturing processes.
- Manage and maintain the plant's network infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity measures to protect production data and systems.
- Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, ERP, WMS) and automation systems.
- Provide timely technical support and incident resolution for IT/OT issues, minimizing production downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored for the manufacturing environment.
- Oversee IT vendor relationships and procurement of hardware/software to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery strategies for all manufacturing-related data.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with manufacturing IT systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT).
- Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, including networking, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity for IT/OT environments.
- Strong leadership and project management skills to lead IT teams and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with manufacturing business objectives for operational efficiency and production support.
- Experience with IT vendor management, budget oversight, and compliance frameworks relevant to manufacturing.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, and operational technology (OT) integration.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with cybersecurity protocols and best practices for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or OT environments.
