As our new Director, People Operations, you will lead a dynamic People team supporting both internal employees and our expanding Employer of Record (EOR) workforce. This role is perfect for a hands-on, strategic operator who can balance daily execution with long-term vision—someone who lives in the details but thinks in systems.
This role is highly visible, high-impact, and essential to our next stage of growth.
What You’ll Do
As the Director, People Operations, you will own a broad and meaningful portfolio of responsibilities, including:
1. Lead and Develop the People Operations Team
Provide leadership, coaching, and structure to ensure high-quality service delivery across HR, EOR, onboarding, payroll coordination, and compliance functions.
2. Own People Compliance and Risk Management
Oversee compliance strategy, policies, audits, and data integrity across U.S. and international employee populations, ensuring we meet all regulatory and client requirements.
3. Serve as the Senior Escalation Point
Resolve complex or high-priority employee relations issues and client escalations with professionalism, sound judgment, and a balanced, people-first approach.
4. Manage People-Related Vendors & Partners
Build and manage relationships with benefits providers, 401(k) partners, HR technology vendors, background screeners, and international EOR partners—holding them accountable to service expectations and alignment.
5. Oversee EOR and Global People Operations
Ensure smooth operations for employees engaged through our international EOR partners, supporting compliant, consistent, and high-quality employment experiences across geographies.
6. Lead Cross-Functional Projects and People Initiatives
Drive improvements to systems, policies, processes, and tools. Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Client Services to execute high-impact People projects.
7. Build Scalable, Efficient People Operations Infrastructure
Design the systems, workflows, and governance that support Suna’s growing footprint—ensuring People Operations remains proactive, resilient, and built for scale.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington
