Job Title: Junior Lead AP Accounting Associate
Pay Rate: $29–$31/hr (W2)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Junior Lead AP Accounting Associate to join our accounting team in Cerritos, CA. This fully onsite position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with multiple entities and Accounts Payable (AP) Associates, supporting the Senior Lead AP Accounting Associate and serving as a critical backup resource. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end invoice process, including coding, approval, entry, and payment
- Perform 3-way matching of invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
- Maintain accuracy in general ledger coding and tax determination
- Reconcile vendor statements and monthly credit card activity
- Assist with weekly wire reviews, check runs, and vendor payments across multiple entities
- Respond to vendor inquiries with professionalism and promptness
- Collaborate with AP team to resolve discrepancies and ensure payment accuracy
- Support year-end 1099 filing and maintain compliance with IRS requirements
- Assist in preparing training materials and onboarding new team members
- Perform document scanning, filing, and organization for record-keeping compliance
- Take on special accounting and administrative projects as assigned by the AP Manager

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- AA degree, Accounting certificate, or relevant coursework preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, with a focus in Accounts Payable
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
