Full Charge Bookkeeper
Our full charge bookkeeper will manage the company's entire accounting cycle, handling responsibilities beyond standard bookkeeping, such as bank reconciliations, payroll, and producing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements) for management. They maintain the general ledger, manage accounts payable/receivable, and oversee month-end closing, acting as a key financial lead.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Accounting Cycle: Managing the general ledger, journal entries, and interpreting trial balances independently.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing vendor payments, client invoicing, and collections
- Payroll & Taxes: Processing payroll and assisting with payroll taxes, sales tax, and quarterly filings.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling bank and credit card accounts and identify differences across systems.
- Month-End Close: Support and take ownership of portions of the month-end close.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in QuickBooks or similar accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Infor experience is a plus!.
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
