Land Development Manager
A leading homebuilder is seeking an experienced Land Development Manager to oversee land development operations across large-scale master-planned communities or multiple projects within a defined region. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex development projects from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee land development activities across multiple projects or large master-planned communities
- Manage and coordinate contractors, engineers, inspectors, and developers
- Review site plans, design documents, and improvement plans for accuracy and alignment
- Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and efficiency
- Develop and manage project budgets, including invoice approvals
- Ensure engineering and planning designs align with approved development plans
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies for permitting and approvals
- Coordinate with utility providers and review infrastructure designs
- Lead bid processes and contract negotiations
Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage and develop team members, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Delegate responsibilities based on team strengths and project needs
- Support employee growth through training and development opportunities
- Provide ongoing feedback to drive both technical and leadership performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience in land development or homebuilding
- Strong understanding of civil engineering, geotechnical concepts, and surveying
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license required

Salary : $130,000 - $165,000
