Jackson James have partnered with a Manufacturing business in Charlotte who are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset and lease subledger in Dynamics 365
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary
- Assist in tax preparation and filings
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
- 3 years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with D365 is preferred
