Job Summary:
The QA Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with company and regulatory requirements. This role involves inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, conducting tests, and documenting results to maintain product consistency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products
- Conduct quality tests and record data accurately
- Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and report findings to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, policies, and safety regulations
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as required
- Complete and maintain quality documentation, logs, and reports
- Assist in investigations of quality issues and support corrective actions
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other applicable guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures
- Ability to use measuring tools and testing equipment
- Good computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, reporting)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
