Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support a high-impact technology organization driving Agile delivery across enterprise initiatives. This individual will lead Scrum teams, coach Agile best practices, and partner with technology and business stakeholders to deliver complex projects from inception through implementation.
What You'll Do
- Lead Agile project delivery across multiple technology initiatives
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning
- Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement and help teams achieve high-performance delivery
- Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritization
- Represent teams in Scrum of Scrums and cross-functional planning sessions
- Track Agile metrics including velocity, burndown, predictability, and team performance
- Identify and remove delivery impediments while proactively managing risks
- Mentor teams across Development, QA, Business Analysis, DevOps, UAT, and Integrations
- Coach teams on leveraging AI tools to improve planning, documentation, and delivery
- Ensure accurate reporting and transparency of project progress
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and self-organizing Agile teams
- Participate in Agile Communities of Practice to advance organizational Agile maturity
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong experience leading Scrum ceremonies and Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Hands-on technical background in software development, testing, business analysis, or related technical disciplines prior to becoming a Scrum Master
- Ability to mentor technical teams across Development, QA, BA, DevOps, UAT, and Integrations
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and SDLC
- Experience identifying delivery risks, process gaps, and driving remediation efforts
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Ativo, and other Agile management tools
- Experience coaching teams on AI adoption to improve productivity and delivery outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools
- Experience supporting Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) initiatives
- Strong background in life insurance or financial services
- Experience facilitating large-scale workshops and cross-functional planning sessions
- Ability to manage multiple complex technology projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Salary : $55 - $60
