Our Client is seeking a Listed Clearing Operations Analyst to join their Listed Clearing team. This role is responsible for supporting the settlement, control, cash management, and client service functions for listed products, including DTC Cash Equities, Stock Borrow/Loan (U.S. & Foreign), OCC Options Clearing, and Equity Tri-Party transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day activities of outsourced/offshore support teams to ensure transaction quality and operational controls.
- Reconcile positions and balances between the firm's DTC/OCC accounts and internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. clearing market practices and operational standards.
- Monitor and maintain clearinghouse margin requirements.
- Investigate and resolve complex transaction exceptions and settlement failures.
- Partner with global affiliates utilizing U.S. clearing services.
- Monitor OCC activity, including CMTA processing, option exercises, and assignments.
- Review and validate outbound client invoices and oversee allocation of clearinghouse charges.
- Prepare recurring management reports, operational metrics, and reporting packages.
- Support Front Office initiatives by participating in new product and service implementations.
- Coordinate responses to internal audits and regulatory examinations.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience within financial services, preferably in banking or brokerage operations.
- Strong knowledge of DTC (Depository Trust Company) operations.
- Working knowledge of OCC (Options Clearing Corporation) processes.
- Understanding of U.S. listed securities clearing and settlement practices.
- Experience resolving operational exceptions and reconciliation issues.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with the Broadridge Shadow platform is a plus.
