What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney position at Interlink Talent Solutions?
Our client, a leading national law firm with offices across the US, are looking to grow their Labor & Employment practice group in California with a number of strategic hires. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney with substantial Labor & Employment litigation experience or with strong litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law who is eager to build a long term career with a collaborative and high performing team.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle all phases of Labor & Employment litigation, with an emphasis on handling discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
- Regularly conduct & defend depositions, handle court appearances, and motion practice. Effectively prepare and examine witnesses, ensuring thorough case preparation and strong representation of clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on high-impact legal projects, contributing to a collaborative, results-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Labor & Employment litigation experience at a prominent national, regional or boutique law firm in California.
- Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school.
- Must be admitted in good standing in California.
- Proficiency in managing complex litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing.
