A leading top 50 AM Law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 4–5 years of experience to join its Miami office.
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation Practice Group, handling complex business disputes across state and federal courts. Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Conduct and manage written and document discovery
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
- Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony
- Appear for status conferences and argue motions
- Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations
- Assist with trial preparation and case strategy
- Work closely with partners and clients on high-value business disputes
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of business or commercial litigation experience
- Strong experience in state and federal court litigation
- Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Exposure to trial preparation and settlement negotiations preferred
- Federal court clerkship experience is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
