Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
• Support patients with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments using specialized techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility support
• Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients, fostering a caring environment

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans and protocols
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition
• Compassionate communication skills for engaging with residents of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required (e.g., resident transfers)
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information
• Experience working with specialized populations such as hospice patients or individuals requiring hospice care is a plus
