Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Duties
- Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations to ensure health and safety
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitation
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions or behaviors promptly to healthcare professionals
- Implement personalized care plans designed by healthcare teams or social workers
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and engagement activities to promote mental well-being
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and infection control procedures such as hospice or dementia care practices
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, or group homes is highly desirable
- Experience with Alzheimer’s care, memory care, dementia care, or working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, patient observation, and care planning is advantageous
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential
- Hands-on experience with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident transfer techniques is beneficial
- Previous roles involving long-term care or home & community care demonstrate a strong foundation for this position
- Certifications such as CPR or First Aid are a plus but can be obtained during training if not already held
