Job Overview:
This supervisory role is pivotal to overseeing the provision of services to individuals served by Home Not Alone. The Residential Program Specialist plays a key role in maintaining a positive, professional rapport with individuals, their families, and the team. You’ll lead efforts to ensure the homes meet compliance standards and create a supportive environment that fosters personal development for all residents.

Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Compliance
- Prepare for audits and licensing reviews for residential homes.
- Conduct quarterly reviews for each resident, ensuring all goals and documentation are up-to-date.
- Monitor monthly resident reviews and goal achievements to ensure quality services.
Team Leadership
- Coordinate and develop training programs tailored to meet client needs.
- Lead monthly staff meetings to foster communication and address program goals.
- Manage the hiring process for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Operational Excellence
- Review MARs (Medication Administration Records) and monthly expenses for accuracy and compliance.
- Schedule routine maintenance (e.g., furnace checks, fire extinguisher inspections, vehicle upkeep).
- Oversee all medical appointments, ensuring all paperwork is completed and properly documented.
Client Advocacy & Engagement
- Attend safety and ISP meetings for residents.
- Establish meaningful goals for each resident and provide guidance to achieve them.
Additional Duties:
- Input schedules.
- Review census reports.
- Be on-call as required to provide support.
Qualifications:
- Certified Investigator for ODP (Office of Developmental Programs).
- Medication Administration Trainer certification.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Program Specialist working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
