Sr. FPGA Design and Validation Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Sr. FPGA Design and Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. FPGA Design and Validation Engineer, you will be part of a team supporting hardware validation and debugging initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Santa Clara, CA

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement complex FPGA architectures using Xilinx devices such as UltraScale, UltraScale , and Versal.
• Create RTL designs utilizing Verilog/SystemVerilog for high-performance applications.
• Perform FPGA prototype design, implementation, and bring-up activities to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct comprehensive timing analysis, closure, and optimization using Vivado tools to meet performance specifications.
• Debug complex hardware and firmware issues using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, ensuring robust validation.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience in FPGA hardware prototyping, particularly with Xilinx reference boards and Synopsys HAPS platforms.
• Proficiency with Xilinx Versal ACAP or UltraScale devices and FPGA synthesis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Python/TCL scripting for design automation and hardware debugging tools.
• Strong understanding of FPGA-based system architecture and hardware/software co-design principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
