Direct Support Professional

This role involves helping clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and community integration activities. Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities
• Support clients in participating in community and social activities
• Implement and follow individualized care plans
• Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
