Direct Support Professional

Creed Medical is searching for compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide dedicated care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this important role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and help improve their overall quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans and encourage meaningful participation in community activities. Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks
• Support clients in developing life and social skills, encouraging independence
• Facilitate community integration and participation in recreational activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any health or behavioral changes
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times
• Collaborate with team members and family to coordinate care effectively
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain post-hire
