Direct Support Professional

Creed Medical is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them with daily living skills and promoting their independence. You will work closely with clients to assist in personal care, community participation, and skill-building activities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families by fostering a supportive and empowering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Facilitate community integration by encouraging and accompanying clients in social and recreational activities
• Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
• Provide emotional support and promote positive relationships
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients
• Collaborate with team members and family to ensure comprehensive care
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in direct support or caregiving preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals served
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based activities
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained shortly after employment
