Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living tasks.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Implement and follow individualized support plans to enhance client independence.
- Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client status.
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
- Collaborate with team members and families to provide comprehensive care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.
