🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage inbound phone calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments via phone and in person
- Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival
- Check patients in and out; verify and update demographic and insurance information
- Collect co-pays and balances; post and reconcile payments
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Monitor and manage front desk supplies and office inventory
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
- Follow office protocols and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Experience handling high volumes of inbound calls is required
- Medical Assistant experience is a plus
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy front office
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and basic office software
