Key Responsibilities
• Independently manage sophisticated defense-side litigation matters.
• Develop litigation strategy from case inception through final resolution.
• Conduct all phases of discovery, including written discovery and document production.
• Manage eDiscovery processes and coordinate large-scale document reviews.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and persuasive briefs.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Handle court appearances in state and federal courts.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Collaborate with partners on complex litigation strategy.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and legal recommendations.
• Coordinate with experts, vendors, and litigation support professionals.
• Maintain litigation budgets, deadlines, and case management schedules.
• Mentor junior associates and litigation support staff when appropriate.
