Duties
• Advise employers and plan sponsors regarding compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act, and other employee benefits regulations.
• Counsel clients on health and welfare benefit plans and related compliance requirements.
• Review, draft, and negotiate third-party administrator agreements and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal guidance regarding HIPAA privacy, security, and compliance issues.
• Assist clients with employee benefits strategy, plan administration, and regulatory developments.
• Conduct legal research involving federal employee benefits and healthcare regulations.
• Analyze legislative and regulatory changes affecting employee benefit plans.
• Draft legal memoranda, compliance guidance, and client advisory materials.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to provide comprehensive client solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with clients by delivering practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Manage multiple sophisticated employee benefits matters while maintaining exceptional client service.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience involving health and welfare plans and employee benefits law.
