We are looking for a Full-time Mental Health Practitioner to work in one of our 24-hour facilities, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder. Our team builds trusting relationship that are transformative in helping to address challenges a person is facing. What you will be doing

• Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
• Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
• Facilitateresidential program activities, classes and groups
• Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance.
