Job Summary: The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in optimizing the sales process, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment between sales strategies and operational execution. As a key member of the sales operations team, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of sales operations and providing strategic support to the sales organization. Key Responsibilities: Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize the end-to-end sales process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Sales Forecasting and Planning: Lead the development and maintenance of sales forecasts, including demand planning, revenue projections, and resource allocation. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure sales performance, track progress against targets, and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting, timely deal progression, and optimal resource allocation. Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement sales enablement initiatives, including training programs, tools, and resources to empower the sales team. Technology and Tools Management: Evaluate, implement, and administer sales technology solutions and tools to support sales operations and improve productivity. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including marketing, finance, and IT, to align sales strategies with broader organizational objectives. Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize sales data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of sales operations professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to foster growth and performance excellence. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 8 years of proven experience in sales operations or a related role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in salesforce automation systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM) and other sales tools and technologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams. Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
