We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Assistant Resident Engineer to provide essential support to our Resident Engineer at John F. Kennedy International Airport. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our ongoing projects at the airport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the office engineering operations for assigned projects.
• Lead and manage field personnel, including Office Engineers and Construction Inspectors.
• Coordinate with contractors to align schedules and ensure quality control measures are in place.
• Implement quality assurance protocols and monitor contractor performance daily.
• Maintain comprehensive records, including logs, correspondence, submittals, change orders, and other essential documents.
• Organize and lead progress meetings with airport facility staff and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in public project management and experience with airside utilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in New York is highly preferred.
• OSHA certification.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
