Job Description: We are currently seeking a Construction Manager Site Environmental Health & Safety Officer (EHSO) with a minimum of ten (10) years of previous experience. The EHSO will be responsible for day to day oversight of the EHS activities on the project. The EHSO shall review/monitor contractor activities for compliance with DEP’s EHS Policies and Procedures, BEDC EHS Standards and all Federal, State, City and local regulations and requirements. The candidate must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in accessing and using the internet and MS Office tools, especially Word and Excel and communication tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or other related fields preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credentials preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
