We are looking for someone who is interested in adirect hire role (no C2C) with a customer service mindset, strong interpersonalskills, team player, results-oriented attitude, commitment, adaptability, andflexibility! You’ll be working with a team to build and support a growinginfrastructure.

The Senior Cloud Engineer’s primary role is to delivera Microsoft Azure platform DevOps service to support a broad range of excitingapplications. This will include both the in-house delivery of code and data toproduction, and a governance role where you’ll be working in partnership with3rd-party service providers to ensure up time, quality and in line with theSDLC. In this hands-on role, you’ll alsocontribute directly to the build and deployment activities involved inestablishing the new platform then work on the significant pipeline of futuredevelopment projects.

• Design and implement operating procedures and processes for Office365, Azure, AzureAD and

·Develop and implement automation strategies using Powershellor .NET applications

·Build, configure operate cloud applications withinAzure and Azure related services

·Be familiar with best practices for Azure resourcemanagement and cost saving measures to prevent overprovisioning

·Develop reports for KPI’s in cloud infrastructurerelated to costs, uptime, and performance

·Migrate on-prem applications to Azure via IaaS VMs orAzure micro-services

·Be familiar with various Azure service offeringsthat can replace existing on-prem applications

·Assist application teams in building and deployingnew infrastructure in Azure

·Collaborate iteratively with subject matter expertsto define requirements

·Help establish engineering best practices andguidelines

·Must be available to work during regular workinghours, Pacific Standard Time

·Weekly on-call rotation with an interval determinedby the number of members on the team

·Develop and maintain system documentation inrelation to the public cloud:

oCreate and update system architecture diagram(s)and system configuration

oCreate and update standard operational procedures

oCreate and manage backup strategies and policies

oUpdate system inventory after any post-deploymentchanges. Maintain up-to-date configuration documents

oProduce operational documentation for technicalstaff

oPlace documentation and code in appropriaterepositories. Communicate updates to team

oUpdate documented issues and incidents regularly

oKeep team informed about pertinent operationalprocesses

·General:

oAssist with standards development and qualityimprovement

oAssist with administrative duties such as attendingconference calls, equipment tagging and surplus, and storage room cleanup, asneeded. Assist helpdesk with escalations of issues as needed

oCommunicate clearly and effectively whilecontributing as a productive member of the IT team. Work closely with otherteam members to help them with relevant tasks, show them how to learn newskills, and help resolve emerging problems on different projects

oAttend relevant meetings, adhere to deadlines, andparticipate as a vital member to collectively advance team-level objectives

oPerform all required compliance policies

Qualifications:

·Minimum of five years of work experience with cloud architecture Azure/AWS

·Demonstrated experience with/in the following:

oContainers, microservices and orchestration including Docker, Docker Swarm and AWS ECS

oMicrosoft Visual Studio.Net, .Net Framework, .Net Core, SQL Server, MySQL

oConfiguration managementtools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible

oAWS DevOps tooling stack(Kinesis, CI/CD, etc.)

oNetworking and LoadBalancers, Firewalls, VPCs, VPNs

oRevision control sourcecode repositories (Git, SVN, Bitbucket)

oInfrastructure andApplication logging and monitoring technologies such as SCOM, New Relic, ELKand OpsGenie

oInternet standards suchas HTTP, HTTPS, Certificates, DNS, FTP, implementation of enterpriseapplications

oAll aspects of unittesting, performance testing and user acceptance testing

oHybrid Cloud-Basedapplication engineering and delivery

·Strong experience in securing Cloud applications

·SDLC (Software development Lifecycle)
