We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong leadership ability to manage our Zerorez® Carpet Cleaning corporate store in Richmond Virginia. The leader in this role must be assertive with field service experience and a can-do attitude that is business minded and driven to succeed. Previous management experience in a field services business is required as well as a strong background in sales and ability to mentor your team.

The Manager of this Zerorez base will facilitate the timely and profitable delivery of all services, while maintaining company standards for quality and customer satisfaction. This position effectively manages the production and business operations of the base, which include the following:

Daily operations

Richmond is a young growing base and as such the Working Manager of this base will be expected to personally run cleaning routes approximately 3 days a week as needed initially.

Work with Dispatch to forecast route and scheduling needs, local vendor relationships, all customer relations, act as liaison between base and all supporting departments such as Call Center, Marketing, Accounting, etc.

Oversee and manage the facilities, fleet and related tools and equipment

Business management – Example: Financial management and delivering on all forecasted and budgeted areas. Meet or exceed profit and loss goals by managing all relevant KPI’s. Grow our Commercial Cleaning business by making sales calls and giving estimates to new and existing clients.

Administrative tasks – Provide data analytics and reports to corporate stores managers, manage payroll, weekly deposits, etc

Personnel management – Example: Supervision of all on site staff (carpet technicians, production manager, shop specialist) such as recruiting, training, performance reviews, schedules, etc.

Qualifications:

• Previous field service management experience; (e.g. Pest Control, Power Washing, Lawn Care Services, Window Washing.etc); carpet cleaning industry is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to get to work and a valid and insurable driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. College education preferred.
• Computer skills to manage administrative and business management responsibilities.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including repetitive “push/pull” movements with heavy extraction equipment and moving/lifting at least 50 lbs. to run cleaning routes and maintain operations equipment.
• Willingness to work hard to meet demands of a growing business.
• The ability to meet customer needs and "wow'ing" them with education on our services and spectacular customer service.
• The ability to perform essential job duties, including running cleaning routes when needed.
• The ability to communicate well in English (both verbally and in writing).
