Property Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of assigned properties
- Manage tenant relations, including responding to inquiries and addressing concerns
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
- Collect rent payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and renewals
- Handle evictions and legal proceedings, if necessary
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance requests
- Maintain knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations and requirements
- Perform data entry and maintain organized property files
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and prospective renters
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in legal administrative tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance requests is a plus
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations is highly desirable
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities for maintaining accurate records and contracts
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively
