Assistant Managers areresponsible for ensuring that the restaurant delivers greatexperiences to guests while maintaining operational standards.

Youwill manage the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring thatthe team properly follows all processes, policies, andprocedures.

Dutiesand Responsibilities

  • Complete all trainingrequirements including :
  • Zaxby's AssistantManager Development Plan
  • Food SafetyCertification and Manager Certification
  • Enhanceguest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceedguest expectations
  • Ensure team members receiveproper training including ongoing coaching anddevelopment
  • Create an effective work schedulefollowing company standards and local laws
  • Planand delegate shift assignments including communicating expectationsand adjusting as needed
  • Supervise, provideleadership, and coach team members to perform at their highestlevel of ability and strive to achieve quarterlygoals
  • Ensure service, product quality, andcleanliness standards are consistentlyupheld
  • Communicate performance concerns to yourGeneral Manager
  • Assist with performance reviewsand mentor and develop team members
  • Create andmaintain a positive culture and healthy team morale throughrecognition and leading by example
  • Handle andreport guest and team member complaints / concerns / injuries timelyand in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Ensureprocesses, policies, and procedures are properly followedthroughout daily operations
  • Maintainoperational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby'sFranchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, andprocedures
  • Maintain compliance with federal,state, and local laws and guidelines
  • Utilizemanagement tools and keep neat, accurate, and currentrecords
  • Otherresponsibilities
  • Maintain an attitude offlexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parametersof this position description
  • Ensure the teamworks safely and follows all safety guidelines andprocedures
  • Immediately report all humanresources and risk management concerns to your General Manager andDistrict Manager
  • Escalate other concerns toyour supervisor when appropriate
  • All otherduties necessary to ensure restaurant operations functionproperly

JobQualifications

The followingrequirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.

  • Must be 18 years of age orolder
  • Must have a valid driver's license,vehicle insurance, and reliabletransportation
  • Open availability and ability towork a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours perweek
  • Ability to work a flexible scheduleincluding days, nights, weekends, andholidays
  • Successful completion of backgroundcheck
  • Must possess leadership qualities,organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively withothers
  • 1-3 years management experiencerequired
  • Restaurant management experiencepreferred

CapabilityRequirements

  • Communicateproficiently through speech, reading, andwriting
  • Maintain effective audio-visualdiscrimination and perception to observe and respond to theenvironment
  • Work in an environment thatfeatures hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to foodallergens
  • Operate and work safely withrestaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers,and potentially hazardous equipment
