Senior Recruiter Job DescriptionReports to: C.O.O./C.E.O.Position; ExemptSalary Range: $64,000-$78,000 (D.O.E.)
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Marketing (or equivalent)- Five or more years of experience in recruitment.-21 Years of Age- Level One – Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or the ability to obtain one)- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and relatively clean driving record
Summary: Working in a rapid growth environment, the Senior Recruiter is highly skilled/educated with innovative ability to quickly find and place the right people for the needed roles within the agency. As an engaging first point contact, the Senior Recruiter navigates highly competitive job markets attracting and securing a large share of the highest-quality job candidates at a rate of 15-20 persons per month during rapid growth cycles. The position requires strong knowledge of dynamic and varied recruiting skills, ability to bridge the Gen Z and the Millennial workforce successfully, knowledge and understanding of social media and alternative recruiting methodologies, ability to lure and source candidates from the market competition. The Senior Recruiter is responsible for full oversight and management of the recruiting life cycle, development of agency recruiting processes and best practices, ability to perform various types of structured interviews, strong knowledge of HR and labor laws, and maintaining a recruiting database. Position works closely with executives and supervisors to understand programmatic needs, job duties, and types of best job fit candidates desired, has strong relationship building skill and passion about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping people develop successful career paths within the agency. In state travel may be required on a limited basis, must possess own transportation. May work weekends/afterhours based on need. Hybrid flexible work schedule with expectation for high visibility and availability in office.Job Duties:
  • Manages the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, helping supervisors find, hire, and retain quality candidates
  • Required to work well independently and within a structured team format
  • Works closely with supervisors to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role.
  • Utilizes knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business needs
  • Meets competitive hiring goals and expectations, desired hiring rate 15-20 staff per month during rapid growth periods
  • Fosters high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions become open
  • Uses sourcing strategies to interest and lure candidates not in the job market from the competition.
  • Partners with senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies
  • Strong ability to attract, secure, and maintain Gen Z and Millennial workers
  • Remains active with job boards, social networks, colleges/universities, and platforms for finding quality candidates.
  • Develops and updates job descriptions and job specifications with relevant supervisors
  • Creates and posts winning job advertisements and announcements with high returns.
  • Screens resumes and CVs, manages job candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation
  • Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired, and terminated employees, and other designations
  • Creates and maintains interview guides strategic to varied positions and roles needed.
  • Creates centralized processes for best management of agency staffing needs and placement
  • Provides supervisors with insights on best interviewing practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to supervisors and executives
  • Conducts background and reference checks for job applicants
  • Assist in the onboarding process and follows up with candidates and new hires.
  • Possess a strong knowledge base of HR and Employment Laws
  • Works in alliance with executive team members and agency objectives
  • Participates in committees and meetings as assigned and needed to perform duties
  • Gives input into policy and procedures
  • Position is hybrid with expectation for high visibility and availability in office and on-site.
  • Works with supervisors and staff to create a positive supportive work environment and manage rapid agency growth

  • Bi-lingual Preferred
Working Conditions: May require prolonged sitting, standing, or walking, working at a desk, use of a computer, extended working hours, and travel to site locations. Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs. Hazardous work conditions may exist based on the population served.
